New Opportunity for Professor

by Oak Brook College of Law

Earlier this month, Criminal Law Professor, Bob Whalen, was sworn in as a member of the Fresno County Judiciary. Congratulations, Judge Whalen! May the Lord give you wisdom in this new position as a minister of justice.

Judge Whalen with Keane (OBCL grad) and Laura (OBCL staff)

“Every court case, no matter what it is, whether somebody is in traffic court or small claims or a lawsuit that is limited in nature, is an important one. At least it’s important to those people who are in front of the judge. And so every time that I have the opportunity to sit and hear a case, that case is going to be the most important one to me, no matter how large or how small it is.”  Judge Whalen
