Paralegal Tuition and Expenses

One-year Program

Tuition and fees for the one-year program are:

  • $3,250 tuition
  • $100 registration fee (nonrefundable)
  • $150 technology feeĀ (nonrefundable)
  • STRF (CA residents only; nonrefundable) $1.50

Students can choose to pay the tuition and fees in full or use the Student Payment Plan. Students that choose to pay their tuition in full will send in the total of $3,500.00 by the required date noted on their enrollment forms. Payment can be made by check, money order or credit card (A $110 processing fee will be added if paying by credit card).

The Student Payment Plan allows the student to pay for the tuition and fees in 10 monthly payments, generally starting the month coursework begins. There is a $15 processing fee per payment when this option is used. The first payment includes the nonrefundable fees (listed above), a $15 processing fee, and one-tenth of the tuition cost. Currently, the first payment is $590, followed by 9 monthly payments of $340 for a total cost of $3,650.00.

Two-year Program

Tuition and fees for each year of the two-year program are:

  • $1,750 tuition
  • $100 registration fee (nonrefundable)
  • $150 technology feeĀ (nonrefundable)
  • STRF (CA residents only; nonrefundable) $1.00

Students can choose to pay the tuition and fees in full or use the Student Payment Plan. Students that choose to pay their tuition in full will send in the total of $2,000.00 by the required date noted on their enrollment forms. Payment can be made by check, money order or credit card (A $110 processing fee will be added if paying by credit card).

The Student Payment Plan allows the student to pay for the tuition and fees in 10 monthly payments, generally starting the month coursework begins. There is a $15 processing fee per payment when this option is used. The first payment includes the nonrefundable fees (listed above), a $15 processing fee, and one-tenth of the tuition cost. Currently, the first payment is $440, followed by 9 monthly payments of $190 for a total cost of $2,150.00.

Additional Information

Oak Brook College accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. Debit cards are acceptable if they have the Visa or Mastercard logo on them. No checks or money orders are accepted for the Student Payment Plan. If a student wishes to use the Student Payment Plan, the student must choose from the options listed. No other payment plans are accepted.

For each of the 16 required courses, the student must obtain one or more textbooks, the cost of which is not covered by tuition. The estimated cost for textbooks ranges from $700 to $1,500 depending on whether the texts are purchased new or used. Most required textbooks may be purchased via the Internet unless otherwise noted. A text list is sent to the students after acceptance into the program.

Additional costs associated with the distance education nature of the program may be incurred by students, including the cost of computer equipment, Internet and e-mail access fees. All such costs are the responsibility of the student. E-mail and high-speed internet access is required.

Oak Brook College does not provide financial aid to students and does not participate in any student loan programs.
