Banks, Tracy W.
Professor Tracy W. Banks received her bachelor of arts from Rice University in Houston, Texas, in 1987. She began her legal studies at the College of Law and Government at Regent University, where she received her juris doctor in 1990. After graduation, Professor Banks began working with the American Center for Law and Justice, and the National Legal Foundation. These two nonprofit organizations are based in Virginia and specialize in the defense of Christian liberties, with a special emphasis on First Amendment litigation. Professor Banks has also taught courses in legal research and writing as an adjunct instructor at Regent University School of Law.
Professor Banks and her husband, Lloyd, have eleven children and live in Cumberland, Virginia. Professor Banks left her active legal career to spend time with her family and is working with Oak Brook College from her home.
