Magnuson, Roger J.
Dean Magnuson is an honors graduate of Stanford University (BA) (where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa), Harvard Law School (JD), and Oxford University (BCL). At Harvard, he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review and was named a Knox Fellow for study at Oxford. He also was awarded a fellowship to study theology under the Rockefeller Fellowship program.
Dean Magnuson and his wife, Betsy, have eight children and live in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, where he is an attorney and a senior partner in the firm Dorsey & Whitney. His primary practice is in the area of business and commercial litigation. He is the author of several books, including Shareholder Litigation, The White-Collar Crime Explosion, and Informed Answers to Gay Rights Questions. He has appeared on a variety of radio and television programs, and at universities, government bodies, symposiums, and seminars. In addition, Dean Magnuson is founder and preaching elder of Straitgate Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
