Professor Kern is a graduate of Rutgers University (B.A. 1979) and Rutgers Law School (J.D., 1982). In  1982 he joined Lowenstein, Sandler as an associate corporate and real estate attorney. In 1984 he moved from New Jersey to California to serve as in-house counsel for several public companies which he did until 1990. Bob then began practice as a sole practitioner specializing in general business law consultation and transactions. In 2001 he became General Counsel to Thru the Bible Radio Network, the international radio ministry of Dr. J. Vernon McGee. At Thru The Bible he is responsible for all estate, trust and gift matters, as well as legal/contractual matters, donor relations and assisting the President with oversight. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Southern California. Bob and his wife, Marci, have two adult children and live in Los Angeles, California.
