Verity Campus Living Option
Beginning in August 2010, Oak Brook College law and paralegal students have the option of studying at a beautiful campus near Indianapolis, Indiana. With the goal of facilitating study groups, spiritual discipleship, and periodic live lectures, Oak Brook College has joined with the Verity Institute to provide an “on campus living” option for all OBCL students.
This cooperative arrangement makes it possible to complete OBCL’s correspondence/online course work while enjoying the benefits of campus life with a group of other committed and energetic Christian young people. The Verity facilities will also be available to OBCL students who want to prepare for course exams, the FYLSX, or the Bar exam.

Oak Brook College students will be part of the campus community consisting of others who are pursuing academic, spiritual, and character goals. Verity students work on earning an undergraduate degree by CLEP exams and distance learning courses. Despite the individualized study, students enjoy and benefit from the group activities, spiritual encouragement, and wise counsel available to each student.
On campus OBCL students will complete their course work just as they would if they were studying at home. There will be no substantive changes in the OBCL study programs, except that study group interaction, review sessions, and examination facilities will be enhanced with this option.
Applications for housing to participate in the “on campus living” program will be made directly to the Verity Institute. Even though the Verity program schedule is different than the OBCL schedule, students will be allowed to stay on campus even when Verity students are on break. The cost of room and board is reasonably price at $195/week when Verity is in session. When Verity is not in session the cost will be $100/week because no meals will be provided, but students will have access to refrigerators, microwaves, and stoves in student lounges.
