Making an Impact
Are you a college age student who wants to make a difference? Be a voice for truth? Stand for justice?
If you answered ‘Yes’, then you are in good company! Almost half of the Oak Brook College alumni were once in the same position; a group of 18-25 year-olds with a desire to make an impact in the culture around them. These motivated individuals were able to obtain a Juris Doctor degree through Oak Brook College of Law, which equipped them to begin fulfilling their God-given purpose years ahead of their peers – and you can as well!
The mission of Oak Brook College of Law is to train individuals who desire to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through service as advocates of truth, counselors of reconciliation, and ministers of justice. In an era where the public is becoming more wary of lawyers (because of arrogance and corruption), the founders of Oak Brook College envisioned a different type of attorney: an attorney with an understanding of the law in objective truth who is equipped to carry out the legal profession with humility and a heart to serve.
OBCL alumni now serve as; defenders of life, advocates in constitutional law, elected officials, public prosecutors, mediators, civil trial lawyers, defense attorneys, and just about every major area of private practice.
To learn more about what OBCL alumni are doing sign up for the Making an Impact newsletter. You will be inspired as you hear how creativity in the courtroom give a victim her voice, how running a 10k race open up greater community service, and how the door to advocate for justice internationally was opened.

In a recent Impact newsletter, homeschool and Oak Brook College of Law graduate Rebekah Millard tells us what it is like defending pro-life causes as a Constitutional Lawyer.
“There is no way I could be doing what I am doing right now if I hadn’t gone to OBCL. A traditional school wouldn’t have allowed me to gain anywhere near the same life experience while I studied. Because of OBCL, I not only have my Juris Doctorate, but I also have over four years of experience to continue building my career with.”
