Michael G. Tapp, Professor
Professor Michael G. Tapp graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with
a bachelor of science degree in 1974 and earned his juris doctor from South
Texas College of Law in 1979. Since then, he has engaged in a private practice
consisting primarily of transactional and litigation real estate law and
business organizations. He has been board-certified in residential and commercial
real estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1984 and is
a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas College
of Real Estate Attorneys.
Professor Tapp and his wife, Penny, have two children and live in Houston, Texas,
where he is engaged in private practice.
