| Roger J. Magnuson, Dean Dean Roger J. Magnuson received his bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University in 1967. He then became a Booth Farris Fellow at Gordon Divinity School. In 1971, he received his juris doctor from Harvard Law School, where he served on the board of editors for the Harvard Law Review from 1970-1971. He did postgraduate work as a Knox Fellow at Magdalen College, Oxford University, and received a bachelor of civil law in 1972. Dean Magnuson and his wife, Betsy, have eight children and live in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, where he is an attorney and a senior partner in the firm Dorsey & Whitney. His primary practice is in the area of business and commercial litigation. He is the author of several books, including Shareholder Litigation, The White-Collar Crime Explosion, and Informed Answers to Gay Rights Questions. In the past, he has appeared on a variety of radio and television programs, and at universities, government bodies, symposiums, and seminars.
